Ingredients

  • 400grams of Global Tilapia fish fillet
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/ 2 cup of flour
  • 1teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 spoon of white pepper (Optional)
  • 1 chopped parsley(optional)
  • Minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • 1/ 2cup bread crumbs

Cooking Instructions

  1. Cut your fish fillets into smaller pieces. Simmer the fish fillets into 1 cup of water with salt and white pepper.
  2. After the fillets have softened, remove from heat and place in a bowl. Mash them down to form a fish paste. Add your finely chopped onions, minced garlic, parsley. For seasoning, you’ll add salt and fish sauce. Add 1 egg and 2 tablespoons of flour to the mixture and mix them.
  3. Shape your mixture into balls as you put them into separate bowls. Put the remaining flour, bread crumbs and beaten egg into separate bowls.
  4. Pass your fish balls through the beaten egg, flour and breadcrumbs bowls as you coat them lightly.
  5. Heat your oil and place your fish balls in the oil. Let it cook until golden brown ensuring both sides look the same.
  6. Remove your fishballs and serve them with a side dish of your choice.
